Comments: During our kitchen remodel, we learned that the footprint of the base of our new cabinets and appliances was smaller, leaving about 2" of flooring missing all around the edges except in the doorways. We removed a “peninsula” which left a 2 1/2' x 5’ gap in the middle of our hardwood floor. Matt removed some adjoining slats to improve continuity, pieced in new hardwood to match our existing grade, and refinished the floor beautifully. No one has been able to tell us where any “remodeling” was done.
His crew generated virtually no dust and cleaned up nicely afterwards. Compared to two larger companies we used previously, Matt was faster, cleaner and more reasonably priced. We liked his work so much that we had him back later to remove the carpet in our family room and replace it with hardwood!
