Reminder - Firewise 2026
DISCOVERY WILDFIRE MITIGATION CHIPPING SCHEDULE
Our first Firewise pickup session will start next Monday and occur on your street sometime in the following two-week period (July 6-17). Don't forget to register by this Friday, July 3. You must have your debris stacked curbside by 8:00 AM on the Monday morning. Addresses not registered will not be picked up, and if your pile(s) are not out when the chipping crew arrives, they will NOT come back!
To sign up for chipping, residents may contact the Wildfire Mitigation Program Coordinator, Jessica McIntire, directly at (719) 385-7342 or jessica.mcintire@coloradosprings.gov. Or, you may sign up by accessing https://coswildfireready.org/neighborhood-chipping-program and scrolling down to the "Register for Chipping" box to fill out the registration form.
Be sure you sign up for the chipping event in which you wish to participate (or both).
