Based on the demand again last year, we will provide two roll-offs to collect non-hazardous “junk”, e.g., old bathroom fixtures, that old chair or bike, scrap lumber in your garage that you haven't found a use for after several years, etc..

This is your opportunity to clean out your basement, garage and yard without hauling items to a landfill. PLEASE do not deposit tree trimmings, bags of pine needles, deck replacement remnants, railroad ties and other bulky items that will unnecessarily limit the space available for your neighbors.

We CANNOT accept computers, monitors, TV's, microchips, oil-based paint, tires, batteries, mattresses or box springs, lead-based substances, refrigerants, fluorescent bulbs, microwave ovens, oil, fuel cans, PCB's, asbestos containing material, mercury, yard waste, or any form of garbage.  However, the El Paso County Household Hazardous Waste Facility, 3255 Akers Dr 80922, will accept many of these materials (but definitely NOT the yard waste or garbage!) and they periodically sponsor a "Clean Sweep" event to accept other items (e.g., tires, large TVs and mattresses/box springs) that they would normally reject.
