I would like to take this opportunity to welcome all our new homeowner families to the Discovery Subdivision of Rockrimmon. At this start of 2007 the Board of Directors will make every effort to meet each of you personally in order to present you a welcome packet at your home. Naturally we will wait until the weather cooperates before we send out our Board members to meet you. The purpose of these welcome visits is two-fold:
First, we want to validate your confidence that you purchased a quality home in a quality subdivision.
Second, we want you to start out understanding that as a Discovery homeowner you have wide discretion in modifying the inside of your home. However, in almost every case of major modifications to the outside of your home you will need to secure permission from the Architectural Control Committee before you commit to any contractor, builder, or self improvement project.

In Discovery we have a wonderfully robust website that contains a wealth of information on our covenants and procedures to follow with regard to making exterior modifications to your home. We also include updated information on what is going on in the subdivision, such as dates and times of our Association Board of Directors meetings each month, of our general membership meeting in November, and other events and projects relevant to safety and maintaining the attractiveness of our community.
